Two ambulance crew members were taken to casualty yesterday after their vehicle burst into flames.
The two member crew was responding to a non-emergency call in the Ballycastle area before being forced to abandon their mission and evacuate their vehicle - which then caught fire.
The fire and rescue service was called and both crew members were taken to Coleraine hospital for assessment for smoke inhalation.
One was discharged but the other was admitted for further observation.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service says a full investigation will be carried out.
