Toomebridge collision claims life of 19-year-old Shannon McQuillan

The 19-year-old killed in a road traffic collision in Toomebridge on Saturday was Shannon McQuillan from Dunloy.

She, and 21-year-old man who was left in a critical condition, were struck by a van in Toomebridge on Saturday morning.

It happened at 3:40am on the Moneynick Road.

Mayor of Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council Paul Hamill has spoken to Q Radio.

He went on to second the appeal for information.
