A defibrillator that was destroyed last month has now been replaced thanks to a generous donation.

The Spar store at Church Meadows has welcomed the return of the life saving device.

The 1,500 pound defibrillator was bought by the local community after a fundraising campaign.

Spar Manager Richard Campbell says it will restore a lot of faith in the community.

A paramedic from London heard about the incident on his social media news and had the machine replaced.

Al Moore says he has seen six lives saved thanks to this equipment.
