Victims of republican violence from South Armagh have confirmed they will demonstrate in Dublin next month on Saturday October 28th.

Campaigner, William Frazer is leading the group - claiming there's been "little or no" recent movement from the Irish Government on legacy issues.

Mr Frazer led a delegation of South Armagh victims along with representatives of the Kingsmill families into meet Garda Assistant Commissioner Leahy, Chief Superintendent Ward and Chief Superintendent Clerkin at Garda HQ in Dublin earlier.

Speaking after the meeting Mr Frazer said, "It has been agreed with the Garda that we can go ahead with or demonstration which has been arranged for the last Saturday in October.

"Again it is to highlight the issue of lack of cooperation from the Irish Government as far back at the meeting with Enda Kenny and indeed commissioner Leahy was very surprised to hear there had been no movement after the last parade was called off after guarantees of cooperation clearly his job is to police that is what he will do but he will also raise these issues with the politicians as it is only them can give us the answers it is quite clear there is too much slaughtering went on of the protestant community in the border regions such as Kingsmills Tullyvallen, Darkley.

"Numerous individuals some kidnapped and badly tortured where the perpetrators returned to the south of Ireland. Equality is the word which is used by the Irish Government and republicans it is time they showed some to the unionist community in south Armagh and further afield".
