Police have said a security alert in the Finaghy Road South area of Belfast is now over.
A search was carried out of the area and nothing untoward was found.
Police spent the morning at the site of the alert in the Finaghy Road South area of Belfast, near Finaghy Primary School.
It comes after police received reports of a a suspicious device this morning
Following on from the alert, the local Finaghy Primary School tweeted this update, saying that only the front gate would be open to pupils this morning.
Local councillor, Kate Nicholl gave her reaction to the alert:
