Former Munster Rugby Head Coach Anthony Foley died after a heart condition caused fluid to build up in his lungs.

The 42 year old died suddenly in a Paris hotel this weekend just hours before his team were due to play Racing 92.

It's been announced that his funeral will take place on Friday after a French Coroner released the body.

The former Ireland player's remains will be flown home to Shannon Airport tomorrow, before being taken to the family home in Killaloe in Co.Clare.

They will lie in repose at St. Flannan’s Church, Killaloe from 1pm to 8:30pm on Thursday evening.

People intending on paying their respects to Anthony are asked to attend early.

Funeral Mass will take place at 12pm on Friday at St. Flannan’s Church, with Church reserved for family and friends only.
