Firefighters are tackling a large blaze which broke out in a Co Fermanagh factory this morning.

A video showing a large plume of thick black smoke billowing from an unused agricultural shed on Crom Road in Lisnaskea has been posted on social media.

Sinn Fein MP Michelle Gildernew says she's not aware of any casualties at the site owned by Ready Egg's which is a major employer in the area.

"No injuries reported so far. I hope that remains the case and that those trying to extinguish the fire are safe and successful," she wrote on Twitter.

A NIFRS spokesman confirmed crews are still at the scene.

''Firefighters are currently in attendance at a fire at a large derelict shed at an industrial food factory on Crom Road, Lisnaskea. Firefighters were called to the incident at 10.58am this morning.
