The Annual Guildhall Craft Fair is set to return to Derry – Londonderry.
A key feature of the Christmas celebrations for the last 22 years the event will feature 40 artists, designers and craftspeople.
A range of both contemporary and traditional gifts will be showcased including ceramics, textiles, knitwear, wood, glass, prints and some artisan food products.
Speaking at this week’s launch at the Guildhall, Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District, Alderman Hilary McClintock, said:
“With thousands of visitors expected over the weekend, the exposure for the many local traders exhibiting is significant and they couldn’t ask for a more stunning backdrop to showcase their offerings than the Guildhall’s Main Hall.”
A Live music programme will help get visitors into the festive spirit as they take a break for some coffee and cake at the Craft Fair Coffee Shop set up by Café Guild in the Main Hall.
Christmas Craft Workshops for children will run free of charge from 12pm until 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
The Craft Fair will begin on Friday 11th November beginning at 2.00pm until 8.00pm, Saturday from 2.30pm until 6.00pm and Sunday from 11.30am until 6.00pm.
