Police have issued an appeal on behalf of An Garda Siochana, regarding the death of Andrew Burns 10 years ago.

A PSNI spokesperson said:

"On the 12th of February 2008, Andrew Burns, aged 27 at the time of his death, was murdered at Donnyloop, Castlefin, Co.Donegal.

"It is now ten years since Andrew was murdered.

"Gardai believe that a number of people were involved in this murder and to date a number of people have been arrested and questioned in connection with the investigation both in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

"An Garda Siochana are grateful for all the witnesses that have come forward and made statements but Gardai believe that there are still people who have information which may assist with the investigation.

"Gardai wish to appeal for anyone with information no matter how insignificant it may seem to come forward to assist with this investigation.
