Two men and two women have been left in hospital after they were attacked at a flat in the Salisbury Court area of the Dublin Road in Belfast yesterday afternoon at around 2:35pm.
Speaking about the suspects, Detective Sergeant Corrigan said: ““It is believed a man and a woman gained entry to the property. The man is described as being 5”8 in height with short dark hair and of heavy build.
"He was wearing a blue fleece, jeans and dark boots. The woman is described as being aged in her 30s, with blonde hair in a ponytail and wearing a hi-viz jacket, black North Face leggings, a black zip-up hoody and carrying a black bag.
Detective Sergeant Corrigan continuted, “As part of our follow-up enquiries into the incident, armed response officers entered licensed premises in the Shaftesbury Square area around 3pm but established that neither suspect was at that address. Before leaving a short time later, one of the officers spoke with a member of staff at the establishment to explain this.
“Our enquiries are continuing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the Dublin Road area of the city around at the time of the incident, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 1099 13/09/20.
