The family of the talented young boxer killed in a road accident in west Belfast on Friday have been speaking about their devastating loss...



13-year-old Eoin Hamill died following a collision involving his bike and a car on the Springfield Road. 

Several hundred people joined family and friends at a vigil in Turf Lodge on Sunday night in memory of the popular local boy. 

 


Eoin had been tipped for the top in boxing.

Paul says the family has been overwhelmed by the support from the local community...

Eoin's funeral is to be held on Tuesday...

Police say Eoin died after "a road traffic collision involving a car and a bicycle."

A man arrested in connection with the incident has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
