A cyclist is said to be 'critical but stable' after a crash in Co.Antrim.
He was struck by a car on the Lisnevenagh Road at around 10.30am on Sunday morning.
The man, believed to be in his 30's, was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital for treatment.
A spokesperson for the Ambulance service said: "NIAS despatched a Rapid Response Paramedic, an A&E crew and a BASICS doctor to the scene. NIAS also tasked the Charity Air Ambulance to the incident.
"Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene one male patient with serious injuries was taken by road ambulance to RVH in Belfast."
People living in the area say a number of cyclists were involved in time-trials early this morning, but there was little signage on the roads at the time.
