There are calls for the tourist season on the North Coast to be extended to include Christmas.
The Portrush Atlantic Hotel opened for the first time on Christmas Day, welcoming guests from across Ireland and abroad - including Italy and New Zealand.
Now the hotel's General Manager Natasha Garrott is encouraging other businesses in the town to open their doors next year.
She says extending the season from six to 12 months would add to the region's growing international reputation and provide a major boost to the local economy...
