A man has been pulled from his car in an early morning hijacking in Co Tyrone.
The victim was driving a BMW along the Reenaderry Road in Coalisland at around 2am when a white van pulled in in front of him and blocked the road.
A man got out of the vehicle and approached the BMW driver who was pulled from the car.
The assailant - described as being of stocky build and aged between 30 and 35 - the drove off.
Police are appealing for information.
Detective Sergeant Robinson said: "We received a report just after 3am that approximately an hour earlier, at 2am, as the male driver of a black BMW was on the Reenaderry Road, the driver of white van pulled in front of him and then came to a stop, blocking the road.
"A male exited the vehicle, approached the BMW and ordered the driver to get out. He then pulled him out of the car and drove off in the BMW.
"The suspect is described as being of a stocky build and aged between 30 and 35 years old and wore dark/grey-coloured clothing.
"Our enquiries are continuing, and I would appeal to anyone who may have been in this area and saw what happened, or who can assist in the whereabouts of the BMW - registration CXZ 6565 - to contact us in 101, quoting reference number 149 of 04/05/20, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
