A 31 year old man has been charged with wounding, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, two counts of assault on police, possession of a Class B Controlled Drug and resisting police
It is after two police officers were left injured following a suspected dog attack in the Botanic Avenue area of South Belfast on Tuesday 29th December.
He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday 25th January.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
