Tyrone Senior Ladies are hosting a special event this evening (Tuesday 1st August) as part of their promotion of ladies football in the county and to prepare for their coming All-Ireland Quarter Final.

They're holding an open training session at Marius McHugh Park, Caisleán na Deirge Naomh Eoghan CLG (Castlederg GAA club).

All supporters and young lady footballers from across the county are welcome to attend the session.

They'll get the chance to watch the players train, and then afterwards they can meet them for autographs and photos with The O'Hare Cup (The Ulster Intermediate Championship Cup).

The Tyrone ladies GFA took to social media to encourage supporters to attend the event:

They said it will be a special opportunity for people across Tyrone to show their support to the county's senior ladies.

"It could also open the door for your younger players to see and meet the players they wish to aspire to follow.

"We would particularly encourage young players in the neighbouring clubs to Castlederg to come along."

The session will be held from 8pm.
