The weather wiped out four fixtures in the Danske Bank Premiership on Saturday, but in the only games played the top two both won.

Leaders Coleraine stayed six points clear with a hard-earned 1-0 victory against Dungannon Swifts at the Showgrounds.

Darren McCauley scored in the first half - his 10th league goal of the season - and Bannsiders keeper Chris Johns was again in top form.

Second-placed Crusaders fought back from 2-1 down to win 3-2 away to Warrenpoint Town.

Paul Heatley put the Crues in front but Martin Murray and Darren Murray struck to give the Point a 2-1 lead at half-time.

Jordan Forsythe levelled it, then Jordan Owens headed the winning goal, just like manager Stephen Baxter used to do for the Crues back in the 90s and early noughties.

So does the boss see similarities with his protege?

Point manager Matthew Tipton was furious with his defence.
Crues keeper Sean O'Neill replaced Brian Jensen to make his first appearance of the season after injury.

Next up for Crusaders is a League Cup semi-final against Dungannon at Stangmore Park on Tuesday night.

Holders Ballymena host Cliftonville in the other last four tie.

Both start at 7.45pm.
