They beat Dundela in the decider

Linfield Swifts are celebrating winning the Toals Steel and Sons Cup for the first time in 19 years.

They beat Dundela 3-1 in the Christmas Eve final at Seaview.

The goals were scored by Reece Glendinning, Cameron Stewart and Adam McCallum with Jamie Jackson replying for the Duns.

Reece is now one up on his famous father Mark Glendinning, the ex-Glentoran player who didn't manage to win the Steel and Sons in his illustrious Irish League career.

There was a sell-out crowd of 2,800 for the traditional festive fixture.

The win kicks off a huge holiday period for Linfield which continues with the first team taking on old rivals Glentoran at Windsor Park on Boxing Day.

Cameron Stewart, who recently made his first team debut, is hoping for another victory.
