Ireland 24-14 Japan
Ireland recovered from a 14 point halftime deficit, to beat Japan 24-14 in their second Pool C game of the Women's World Cup at the UCD Bowl in Dublin on Sunday.
The Girls in Green found themselves 14-0 down at the interval after a penalty try was followed up by a score from full-back Mayu Shimizu.
Both tries were converted by Shimzu as the underdogs headed into the tunnel with a shock lead.
Ireland had their bench to thank for the second-half comeback, with replacement Allison Millar beginning the fight back.

Her converted try was followed up by a seven-pointer from Paula Fitzpatrick. The hosts then took the lead through a Nora Stapleton penalty.
The game was made safe when Millar touched down for her second of the game in the dying seconds. Stapleton's conversion made it 24-14 at the whistle.
Next up for the Irish is a return to the UCD Bowl for their final Pool C game against France on Thursday.
Following last night's win and a 19-17 victory over Australia in the opening game, Thursday will serve as a Pool C decider.
