Ruaidhri Higgins has been appointed the new manager of Derry City on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
The former Candystripes midfielder replaces Declan Devine who left the club on Thursday "by mutual consent."
The 36-year-old Higgins, from Limavady, leaves his position as Republic of Ireland's chief scout and opposition analyst.
His first game in charge will be away to Sligo Rovers on Saturday evening.
