Paul Heatley stole the show in front of the Sky Sports cameras on Monday night with a hat-trick as Crusaders beat Warrenpoint Town 4-1 at the Q Radio Arena.

But the striker was keen to praise his teammates, some of them drafted in to replace unavailable regulars...

The victory moves the Crues back into top spot, two points clear of Coleraine going into the showdown at Seaview next week (Easter Tuesday) when the teams meet in the first match after the split. 

With five games to play, Heatley told Q Radio in the post-match downpour the Crues are determined to take the title after letting it slip last season...

Former Point player Darren Murray was also on the scoresheet with TJ Murray getting the home side's consolation goal.

Meanwhile, Matthew Shevlin struck twice as Ballymena beat Ballinamallard 2-0 at the Showgrounds to clinch the final place in the top six.

The Northern Ireland under-21s had a scoreless draw with Iceland in the Euro 2019 qualifier in Coleraine.
