Chance for Swifts to claim back 6th spot

Dungannon Swifts will be hoping to take back 6th place in this weekends fixtures.

They slipped into 7th place after a 2-2 draw with Ballinamallard.

The side will travel to Ballymena United in hope of claiming all three points.

It's not going to be an easy task for Rodney McArees side, with Ballymena sitting 4th in the league table.

Kick off for that match is at the normal time of 3 o clock.

They'll be heading into the match in high spirits as they continue their signing streak.

This time they managed to secure the signature of the popular left back Jarlath O'Rourke.

He has signed a 2 year contract extension. 

Head coach Rodney McAree said he was delighted with the signing.

Captain Ryan Harpur and winger Alan Teggart have also signed 2 year contracts with the club.
