The Dubliner began his managerial career at Seaview

Aaron Callaghan has been appointed Carrick Rangers' new first team boss.

The 50-year-old started his managerial career as a player-manager with Crusaders, and has considerable experience in the League of Ireland.

His first game in charge will be the home clash with Glenavon in the Danske Bank Premiership on Saturday.
