Four masked men armed with a suspected gun have ransacked and burgled a house in Belfast.
Police say they entered the property in the Chestnut Gardens area, at around 7pm last night.
A 39 year old woman, who was inside the property at the time, was assaulted and sustained a minor injury to the right side of her face.
A number of items were taken during the incident.
The suspects, who are believed to be in their late 20s or early 30s have been described as having local accents and wearing dark clothing.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is urged to contact the PSNI on 101, quoting reference number 1399 30/1/19.
