A 29-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and of being over the limit following a "horrific" incident in Co Armagh.
A fight broke out at around 11.15pm last night on Railway Road where local residents also reported that a red Volkswagen Golf was driven erratically - striking other vehicles and people.
Police say they have not heard from any pedestrians who were struck and encouraged them to contact detectives.
Sinn Fein MLA Liz Kimmins says there's widespread anger following the "disturbing scenes" which are circulating on social media.
"One arrest has been made and police are continuing to investigate the details of a number of videos," she said.
"A number of people were injured during the incidents and the terrible scenes have left local residents terrified in their own homes.
"This is totally unacceptable and must stop now. We are very lucky someone wasn't killed as a result of this reckless behaviour.
"The Meigh Community should not have to put up with this week in week out, and we will continue to do all we can to put a stop to it”
Meanwhile SDLP MLA Justin McNulty branded the footage as "disturbing".
"Young people’s lives have been impacted most during this pandemic and I have huge sympathy for the frustration they are experiencing," he added.
"However, dangerous and reckless or antisocial behavior is not acceptable.
"Meigh residents are angry and are adamant this type of disturbance and activity must stop now.
"I pray that those who have been injured can make a full and speedy recovery and I will continue to liaise with Police and residents."
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police received a report of a fight outside a bar in the Railway Road area at around 11.15pm however the area had calmed prior to police arrival.
"A number of people present stated to the attending officers that a car had been driven erratically (in the area a short time earlier, striking other cars and possibly pedestrians
"Police subsequently located the vehicle, a red Volkswagen Golf, and the female driver was arrested.
"We are aware of information circulating however to date there have been no reports to police from pedestrians who were struck by the vehicle.
"We would encourage anyone who was struck or anyone who witnessed what happened to please get in touch with us by calling 101, quoting reference 2217 07/05/21."
