Covid-19: Four deaths, 2,469 new cases

Four more people have died after having tested positive for Covid-19 and a further 2,469 new cases have been diagnosed.

Three of those deaths occurred in the most recent 24-hour reporting period.

There are 433 people in hospital who have tested positive and nine of them are in ICU.

Five of those nine people are being ventilated.

Hospitals are operating at 105 per cent.

The death toll since the pandemic began stands at 3,170. 

The highest percentage of new cases in the past seven days were among those aged 35 to 39.

There are 172 outbreaks in care homes.
