For most brides their wedding day is one of the best days of their lives as they get to marry the person they love.
For Ciara Keenan her day did not turn out as planned.
In days leading up to her and husband John's wedding, she was feeling unwell and in pain.
However, after all the planning she put into this day, Ciara didn't want to cancel her wedding and went ahead to the ceremony.
Her sister in law Arielle Singer told Q Radio how Ciara just about got through the ceremony:
"She was desperate to make it through the ceremony, as much as the wedding as she could.
"It was madness, she managed to get her wedding dress on to take a few photos, walk down the isle.
"The priest had a chair waiting, sitting for her with a glass of water in case she needed to sit down during the ceremony.
"Just after she was rushed back to the farm, the family home where the wedding was supposed to take place and called the ambulance."
After Ciara's condition worsening in a tragic turn of events, she ended up in hospital immediately with John by her side.
She was only able to enjoy her wedding dress for 2 hours and they both missed their own wedding reception.
Ciara was treated in hospital for 3 days with Stomach Ulcers, however she made a full recovery and both her and John are currently on their honeymoon.
Sister in law Arielle has now set up a gofundme page so the couple can have the chance to re-do their wedding reception.
She said:
"Anyone who has ever had their own wedding, or even been involved in one, knows how much work and planning goes into a wedding day.
"There is so much anticipation and it should be remembered as an incredibly special day.
"The darling couple deserves the reception of their dreams. We are starting this campaign to give Ciara and John another chance to enjoy their wedding day."
A target of £3,000 was set for the gofundme page and they currently have received £1070 from donations.
Arielle would like to appeal to anyone, that any size donation is appreciated.
