The Belfast woman aiming to become the oldest woman to row solo across the Atlantic has been safely rescued at sea.
The alarm was raised a few days ago, when water starting getting in to Shirley Thompson's boat.
She discovered the leak on Friday, but high winds and stormy seas hampered her attempts to fix it.
On her voyage blog, which she posted online, she said the leak was in the footwell of the cabin on the boat.
Shirley decided to take on the mammoth challenge to celebrate her 60th birthday.
