Linfield have moved a point clear at the top of the Danske Bank Premiership after a 4-2 victory over Cliftonville.

David Jeffrey's Ballymena United had briefly been at the summit following Friday night's controversial win against Newry City.

Andy Waterworth was Linfield's hero again on Saturday, hitting a hat-trick in the Belfast derby clash at Windsor Park.

Waterworth earned the praise of Northern Ireland's record scorer, Blues boss David Healy....

But Reds manager Barry Gray wasn't so impressed ....

Third-placed Glenavon are two points behind the leaders after beating basement team Ards 3-1 at Mourneview Park.

Crusaders needed a 95th-minute penalty from Rory Patterson to clinch a 3-2 home win over Institute - his second goal of the game.

'Stute star Michael McCrudden also struck twice.

Dungannon beat Glentoran 1-0 with Seanan Clucas grabbing the goal.

Warrenpoint had a 2-1 victory over Coleraine at the Q Radio Arena - Robbie Norton smashed home the winner from the spot.
