The officials at the Showgrounds were guests from Saudi Arabia with former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg - Head of Refereeing for the Saudi Arabian Football Federation - acting as the referee's assessor.

Glenavon had Joel Cooper sent off but still won 2-1 at Carrick, Linfield beat Ards 3-0 in Bangor and Dungannon Swifts were 2-0 winners against visiting Ballinamallard.
