League to review position on fans at games amid new calls for support from Stormont

The weekend action in the Danske Bank Premiership kicks off tonight with a north Belfast derby - Crusaders against Cliftonville.

There are five more matches tomorrow and the NI Football League has confirmed fans can attend, with strict health and safety protocols being observed.

However, a statement was issued last night saying the position is to be reviewed in light of recent advice:

Attendances are greatly reduced though under the Covid regulations and there are calls for financial support from Stormont.
