Derry City defeat Institute to retain Billy Kee Memorial Cup

Derry City produced a confident display at the Riverside Stadium last night to retain the Billy Kee Memorial Cup.

Kenny Shiels' men defeated Institute 1-4  in the annual fixture.

Both Aaron McEneff and Ben Doherty scored a brace each for the Candystripes.

Meanwhile, Aaron Jarvis claimed the host's only goal on the 73 minute mark. 

Derry City continue their pre-season training with a game against Coleraine at Maginn Park in Buncrana tomorrow night.

Meanwhile, Institute are back in action on Saturday when they host Dergview in the Championship.
