The Aberdeen defender has been drafted into the squad to face the Czech Republic
Aberdeen defender Callum Morris has been handed his first Northern Ireland call-up ahead of the side's World Cup Qualifier against the Czech Republic. He's been brought into the squad after the withdrawl of Tom Flannagan due to a thigh injury.
Morris was born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne but qualifies for Michael O'Neill's side due to his father being from Belfast. Morris spent several years in non-league football before stepping back up to the professional ranks four years ago, with Dunfirmline Athletic.
This summer he signed a deal to join Scottish side Aberdeen, and is awaiting his first appearance with the Pittodrie outfit.
