Coleraine beat Ballymena United 1-0 in Tuesday night's Danske Bank Premiership derby at Warden Street.

It means the Bannsiders stretch their unbeaten run to nine games.

Skipper Lyndon Kane was the hero with a goalline clearance in the first half, then a superbly struck winner just after the hour mark.

The Sky Blues finished with 10 men - keeper Jordan Williamson sent-off following a reckless challenge on Stewart Nixon.

Meanwhile, Glentoran replaced Ballymena in the top six with a 3-1 victory in Portadown.

There was a stunning first goal in his second spell for the Glens from new signing Conor McMenamin.

The other two games ended 1-1 - Glenavon against Carrick and Warrenpoint at home to Dungannon.

They go again this weekend:

Carl Frampton's world title fight with Jamel Herring later this month is set to be postponed.

The Belfast boxer's attempt to become a three-weight world champion was due to take place on the 27th of February in London.

But it's understood due to injury concerns the contest will be pushed back and rescheduled within the next few weeks.
