Ulster's answer to Jake Gyllenhaal returns to our screens tonight

The road to stardom is never easy and county Antrim actor Stephen Hagan can vouch for that.

32 YEAR OLD Stephen from Greenisland has been jobless and almost penniless but has managed to beat the odds in the unsure world of acting.

He's the down to earth and up and coming Jake Gyllenhaal lookalike, who's starred in big movies alongside Hollywood legend Steven Segal no less.

Stephen has also been busy filming for a role in the film "Zoo". Seen through the eyes of a 12 year old schoolboy the movie is based on the true story of Denise Austin, a keeper at Belfast Zoo during the blitz in 1941.

This week however he returns in the second series of "Lucky Man" also starring fellow Northern Ireland actor James Nesbitt.

Stephen, who's completely unfazed by his success, returned to Belfast this week for some valuable down time.

Q Radio caught up with him at his parents home in leafy south Belfast.

Among issues discussed was his first acting pay packet and his starring role in Against the Dark alongside Segal...
