Two Ballymena families suffered petrol bomb attacks at the weekend.

On Saturday morning around 12.30 a house on the Moat Road was targeted.

A couple and their two grandchildren were inside but escaped injury, and damage was slight.

Around 03.45 on Friday four people, including an eleven-year-old boy, escaped injury in a petrol bomb attack at their Alfred Street Place home. A window in the house was smashed and an outside wall scortch-damaged.
