Three people arrested in connection with the abduction and torture of Kevin Lunney have been released without charge.
The two men and one woman were released in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A mother and son were among those being questioned since Thursday over the incident in September.
However, Gardai say a file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions in the Republic.
Mr Lunney, an executive of Quinn Industrial Holdings, was attacked as he was driving home from work near Derrylin.
The 50-year-old was beaten and tortured by three masked men during the attack, which lasted for several hours.
He was then driven across the border and dumped at a roadside in Co.Cavan, wearing nothing but his boxer shorts.
Gardaí and the PSNI have launched a cross-border taskforce to investigate the attack, and a wider campaign of intimidation towards Quinn Staff which includes death threats.
