Tools worth up to £1,000 have been stolen from a van in County Antrim.

Thieves smashed the groundworker and concreter's vehicle's window before taking the equipment in Toomebridge between 7am and 5pm on Thursday.

A new full dewalt powertool kit and titan breaker were taken from the Grey Vauxhall Vivaro parked in the town's one way street.

A £300 reward is being offered for information that gets the tools back.

Caoimhghin Conlon told Q radio news, "Its how I make my living and pay my bills. I have just moved in to a new home this week and I am starting a family so I have people depending on me."
