Police seek pedestrian passing assault in Greenisland

Police are keen to speak to the pedestrian who came across an assault on a woman in Greenisland on Sunday. 

It's to have happened between 10pm and 11pm that night.

Officers say a man was hitting the woman, whilst the pair were walking in the vicinity of Station Road, Glassillan Grove and Rossmore Green. 

A person passing is to have challenged this man about the incident. 

The PSNI would like to speak to the pedestrian or any other witnesses in the area at the time. 

They can call 101 quoting reference 1557 of 16/09/18 or anonymously contact the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555111.
