McDonald's in Carrickfergus was forced to close it's doors early on Saturday evening, following reports of anti-social behaviour.

According to a PSNI facebook post, around 50 youths had crowded in the fast food outlet.

They moved after officers arrived.

Police say they were able to identify one of the offenders and hope to identify more via CCTV footage.

They also plan to contact the youngsters' parents, to warn them about their children's activities.

Meanwhile, there were also reports of antisocial behaviour elsewhere in the town.

In the same facebook post, a spokesperson for the PSNI said "Reports of train conductors so concerned for their safety due to drunken youths meaning they had to stop and hold the train until the youths got off."
