Man shot in west Belfast

A man has been shot in west Belfast.

It happened on the Falls Road close to the jobs and benefits office at 20.30 on Wednesday night.

He was taken to hospital for treatment to gunshot wounds to his legs.

Peter Morris from the Men and Boys' Initiative says violence like last night's incident is 'destroying families  "These shootings can be the reasons behind suicide" said Peter "it affects achievement and education.
