Westlink crash victim was 69 year old from Belfast

The man who died following a crash on the Westlink yesterday was Victor Shaw. 

The 69 year old from North Belfast crashed his car on the Country Bound lane shortly before three O'Clock. 

It lead to major delays and rush hour grid lock in Belfast City Centre. 

Investigations are also continuing after a motorcyclist in his 40's died in a crash in Cookstown last night. 

The man in his 40’s was involved in a two vehicle collision on the Lough Fea Road at around 8pm.

He died at the scene after colliding with a Hyundai Santa Fe car.

The PSNI has appealed for information from anyone who witnessed either crash.
