A 35 year-old man has been arrested after suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of £88,000 was seized in west Belfast.
The PSNI's Paramilitary Crime Task Force investigating the Republican group the INLA made the discovery, in a search in the city yesterday.
Detective Inspector Hamilton said: “The 35 year old man was arrested in the west Belfast area on suspicion of possession of a Class A Controlled drug and possession of a Class A Controlled drug with intent to supply. He is currently assisting police with their enquiries
“A 39 year old woman arrested on Thursday 19th November as part of the investigation has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.”
