A local Council initiative has been shortlisted for the first ever 'Northern Ireland Year of Food & Drink Awards'.

‘Wild about Food’ - is a Mid and East Antrim/Antrim and Newtownabbey Council collaboration.

One of the tasks saw participants foraging for wild garlic at the Ecos Centre Park, and making a wild garlic pesto.

Prominent food critics, including Joris Minne, will decide the winners, to be announced tomorrow.
