Stormont ministers will meet with business representatives from larger stores today to discuss trading during the Coronavirus pandemic.

The meeting follows criticism that larger retailers are allowed to sell non-essential items while smaller stores are not.

Major supermarkets are expected to take part in the discussions.

First Minister Arlene Foster says some larger firms had been behaving in a 'selfish' way.

Meanwhile, there are calls for front-line shop workers here to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as a matter of urgency.

Glyn Roberts from the body says innoculating essential workers in our shops, would help slow the spread of the virus.

"Retail NI fully support Matt Hancock's comments that front-line shop workers should be a priority for vaccinations and we would urge the Northern Ireland Executive to actively consider this."
