The Irish Football Association has received $1m from Fifa to help it cope during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Football's world governing body made similar funds available to every national football association.

IFA Chief Executive David Martin told a Stormont Communities committee the bulk of the money has been passed on to cash strapped local clubs.

He says this amounts to around $800,000.
