The dog had been seized by Belfast City Council over fears it was a banned breed
Hank the dog is returning home today.
It's after the pet was seized by wardens at Belfast City Council.
A member of the public complained of alleged mistreatment.
However, there was an applause in court today as a judge permitted the animal to return home later this afternoon.
A number of conditions have been put in place and Hank will have to wear a muzzle and a lead.
The pet's owners Leonard Collins and Joanne Meadows say they're delighted and have thanked the public, media and politicians for their support.
