Elderly women escape injury following burglary at house in Belfast

Police are appealing for information following a report of a burglary in the Drumart Walk area of Belfast on Tuesday 6th January.

Detective Sergeant Faulkner said, “At around 7:40pm on Tuesday evening, it was reported that four masked men gained entry to a house in the area.

“It is believed that the men were wearing all black clothing, with gloves and balaclavas and had spent around twenty minutes in the house before making off with a sum of money.

“Two older women were in the house at the time of the incident, however no injuries have been reported.

“We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or who has information about the incident to contact detectives at Musgrave Street on 101, quoting reference number 1516 05/01/21.
