The long-delayed new footbridge in Ballymena's Ecos Park is a step closer!

Councillor Paul Maguire says the contractor is scheduled to start work there later this month.

It's expected to take twelve weeks.

He says it's great news for the hundreds of walkers, joggers, cyclists and pet lovers who enjoy Ecos Park regularly,

The current dilapidated Ecos footbridge has been closed well over a year for safety reasons.
