The trial against a Northern Ireland man accused of terrorism in Syria is due to continue today.

Eamon Bradley is accused of travelling to the country and attending a terrorist training camp in 2014.

Yesterday his defence barrister argued he was not Derry's answer to Britain's First World War desert adventurer Lawrence of Arabia.

The lawyer told Londonderry Crown Court he was simply on holiday in Turkey.

However the prosecution says he admitted commiting the offences to detectives.

The 28 year old originally of Melmore Gardens in Creggan denies the 6 charges against him.
